Hi, I’m Satwik 👋🏽

I am a data scientist, and a Machine Learning Engineer. I have a Master’s degree in Statistics (data science concentration) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

I’m excessively curious about different algorithms and I love how they work together to solve an actual real-life problem.

Apart from academics, I also play guitar :

And now about the blog.

I learned a special way for coping with any hard task. And that is by asking 3 questions; What, Why and How?

So, starting with the first question.

What is this?

This is my blog. It’s called Algos Expeditus which is a loose, stylized Latin for “Algorithms Explained”. This is actually my second blog. I ditched my first blog after I accidentally messed up my code and it was too much work to fix it back. So here’s my second attempt of blogging.

Why Am I doing this?

Because I genuinely am curious about algorithms and how they impact our world. I’m also curious about various other things in life, and I love story telling. So this is my way of sharing everything unique and fun I come across on the internet.

How?

I watch a lot of YouTube videos, and I also come across a lot of interesting topics from various other social media networks like LinkedIn, and instagram. Thankfully, the algorithms of these places have changed enough that they recommend me really interesting stuff. Once I find something really interesting to write about, I google a little more, watch more YouTube videos, and read more articles and combine them in a way that satisfies my style of storytelling.
